Felt good to get back out there…

Have you ever looked down at your notes when the talk starts and realised you didn’t factor in the lack of light in the venue… me neither, until now…. All good though, the backup kicked in and the talk went without a hitch! The feeling after was insane, thanks to AGDA for asking me to be part of the speaker lineup and the audience for being so welcoming. A good homage to Trevor Beattie, Simon Browning and Alan Fletcher, 3 of my all time hero’s.

TEDxSydney 2015…It’s a wrap!

After an award winning year in 2014 Common was engaged to develop the 2015 look and feel across all brand and event touch-points. Thankfully TEDxSydney 2015 is wrapped up and followed in the true spirit of TED as a successful year. We’re exhausted and elated at the same time. An weirdly looking forward to the next installment of TEDxSydney, bring it on.

For 2015, we welcome three new councillors – Matt Morgan Senior Designer at Landor, Mark Stott, Founder of Common and Mike Tosetto, Independent Motion Director.

Re-elected for 2015 are Linda Jukic, Creative Director at Hulsbosch, Ben Miles, Creative Director at Interbrand, and Julie Faktor, Creative
Partner at Concept. Graham Barton, Creative Director of Folk, continues as Vice Chair and Jason Little, Co-Founder/Creative Director, For the People continues as Chairman.
