Tribe is a brand unto itself, that sits within the Aveda lifestyle concept family - so needed to compliment Aveda, whilst retaining its own brand identity and personality. The name created the identity, a unique feminine tribal icon strong in composition accompanied by delicate type. We also made sure that the identity colour, or texture was made up from the material it was placed on – burnt from wood / calved out of stone – again cementing the idea of tribalism and further pushing home the idea of texture and tactility – something Aveda is intrenched in.
