Art for purpose
Mark was asked to exhibit in Rise Exhibition as one of a few Australian creatives in March 2020 in response to the devastating Australian Bushfires. The only material he could use was a bag of charred wood collected from desolated Australian Bush. The art was displayed, and auctioned for charity to aid the firefighters, lives and homes ravaged by the fires.
The art is proudly displayed in various locations, one of which is RE Bar. Recently awarded the World's most sustainable bar.
We created 2 concept pieces as a series of 6 screen prints, the ink made from ground down charred bushfire wood with resin, producing 98% bushfire ink - a one of it's kind.
